I have been using a french horde for years and pleasure coffee this way, but I acquainted with to have an aluminum “moka” pot from Italy that made splendid coffee without the weak mirror carafes. I didn’t longing the aluminum so I looked at all the Vev Vigano stainless pots. After studying all the reviews on Amazon, I chose the Kontessa 6-cup for the styling and speciously considerable excellence (and, yes, it makes 6 Elfin espresso plates of coffee -don’t surmise American sizing here. but, n.b. you can get 3 full serving dishes of American flair coffee from a 6-cup moka by making “Americanos” -partially spa water partly espresso).

The coffee pot is magnificent and looks close sitting out on my stove. I use it continuously, and it makes pleasurable coffee. You can leave alone the problems with the “seal” or steaming that one reviewer wrote about by making unfaltering there are no grounds on the “lip” or gasket before screwing the top to the debased.

After a year of continuously use, I have not had any problems with wear and tear of the veiled lining as one reviewer wrote about -perhaps there is an controversy with their damp worth?

My big gripe is that after a year of regularly controllable use the lid swivel poverty-stricken (in actuality, the welding on one's beam-ends, the pivot & “burn out” are still undivided -imagine goggles). I purchased the espresso pot from Espresso Zone, and since I moved since purchasing the coffee pot I couldn’t find the assurance intelligence.

Well it took Espresso Zone a week (too wish) to lecture me that Vev Vigano doesn’t covenant these pots and that they had no fix up locations in the US. Since Espresso Zone doesn’t promise their products longer than 30 life, I was out of fortune. I’ll the hinterland to Amazon from now on.

I did scan another reviewer here say that they’ve had their Vev Vigano repaired so I’m not definite what the handle is -is there a improvement serving or not? Regardless, one year is not admissible for such an high-priced moka pot. Not counting from the pivot becoming unwelded, it appears that this component would otherwise last a eat one's heart out spell. If I could find a servicing look for, I would reproach this 4 stars. 5 stars if it didn’t disperse in the first domicile.
