When I was in radiation, I obsessively drew circles with a smaller circle inside it. These were my cells which I was willing back to life.
As I struggled with post radiation fatigue, I continued to draw these cells. Years later, as my health returned, the meaning of these circles shifted: I understood the centre circle to be this life and I was the larger circle encompassing all that life gave me. Life had become my sacred centre.
